How much more interesting can this story get...

Chapter 5 gave me the shivers, I tell you. Seeing the naivety of the MC get crushed bit by bit by the things happening around her, and the words of her brother finally being the last thin straw. That last panel....oof the emotion in her eyes is so nice to see, the drawers really nailed it on this one. This chapter probably sets the stone of the MC’s character development and it was executed quite beautifully. By now she’s probably thinking along the lines of ‘damn, am I that useless?’ or ‘is this how little people expect of me?’. It’s time for her to grow up and mature, and I’m so excited to watch her development throughout the story.
