Also once a fight is over, in most Anime they just part ways but I love how they can interact and even chill and have great conversations afterwards! Since they're not really enemies.
It makes for such great moments within the series and shines light to characters outside of battle, giving them personality.

Omg that would've been crazy lol, it wasn't great but not that terrible tho.
Same here, season 2 is blowing my mind, the quality is insane!
It's really sad but kinda understandable if people couldn't get into it thanks to that, even I was debating if I might drop this.
The first few episodes really bring down the otherwise amazing story of WT but hopefully with season 2 and the spike in quality (later on in season 1), some people will stick around as well~
I started with the Anime and it was cringy ngl, thought about dropping it but it was hella funny so I stuck around to experience the true charm of WT.
I don't regret anything, this has become one of my favorite manga/anime out there.
It's just so innovative and fresh, it gives proper screen time to side characters and all of them are likable in their own rights.
Can't remember a single series with so many well fleshed out side characters aside from maybe Bleach (Naruto, One Piece etc are far too focused on the main characters).
The rank wars are amazing as well!! The writing is so clever omg, it's actually so exciting to watch! Not the usual "oh main team will win because main team" trope.
And it has a reasonable purpose too! Unlike My Hero Academia where showing their skills to each other in fights might be great to read but utterly stupid since you can anticipate their weaknesses so much easier.
The don't fight people from another world after all.
I like Osamu as well, he is weak af and it can get irritating but so many Anime have powerhouse mains so what's the harm in at least a bit of diversity? I like that, besides his teammates make up for the strength he's lacking and he does improve with his ideas in later rank wars and even scores points! Can you imagine? Give him some credit!
Although Hysuse will remain my favorite hehe
And I like the =3= faces, the panels + backgrounds are so elaborate, don't call the author lazy for a stylistic choice the made ..it's charming to me.
That's like calling someone bad or lazy for drawing their character's noses a different way.
Anyway that's it, I doubt anyone has read this far but I'll continue to look forward to this series development! Such a gem!
