Definitely because of the tattoo, lol, and he had said "let's go see 'spots'!" right before they saw the leopard (or cheetah... I don't really know haha)
Now that I checked, it's definitely a leopard, cheetahs don't have black stripes in the snouts and they have black lines going from the eyes to the corners of their mouth. That's a leopard.
Was Toma saying that the spotted animal (idk what it is, a cheetah?) was the same as papa cause of daiki's tattoo or cause he sees it as fercious as his father? hmmm
