OH THANK GOD! Ive been going through the comments and im shook its even an argument that the child should be with the imortal duchess/queen mother figure. Like, i just don't see why ppl would want that??? Just no. Its yucky.
Guys 'I Became a Villains Mother' executed this type of trope very well! If you guys are uncomfortable with the direction this story is going (like me) then I very much suggest it. A healthy mother/son relationship and guess what... THEY DON'T END UP TOGETHER! Woohoo! It's cute, wholesome and doesn't radiate groomie vibes, literally one of my favourites.
