Y’all. He saved her. Yes, he killed the butterflies, but she would have DIED. She would have died, the mf butterflies would eat away at her. What matters now is that she’s alive. So she can hatch some more. AND. We don’t even know for sure if he killed ALL of her butterflies.
“If he hadn’t done that....”
SHE WOULD HAVE DIED. PERIOD. Then her butterflies wouldn’t matter anymore, right? Why? Because she would be dead. Dead as hell.
Her family relies on power. Right. That’s true. But she was keeping it a secret in the beginning that she was hatching butterflies in the first place, so she can surely keep it a secret that she has to hatch some more. Or that she lost some.
And, she survived all those years without having the butterflies. What’s saying she can’t do that again?
OH. AND. Those bees. The female lead didn’t need to use her butterflies to get rid of them. She probably has some brute strength even if she looks petite.
Again, some of the butterflies disappeared, but we don’t know if they all did.
