That's not that he disregards her efforts, he just never saw her in action. He doesn't know how powerful she is because of poison. All the things he see are that her blood and aura is highly poisoned (but again, he saw people giving her poisonous flowers so with all his knowledge, he thinks that she got slowly poisoned by her family)
