I like the story, it’s just that the girl is sooo dumb. I get that she was raised in poverty and I know that she wasn’t educated, buttt why didn’t develop good instincts. Maybe she’s slow in understanding idk know anymore. She stresses me out I kinda wanna knock some sense into her... She literally lived in a Harlem, there were tons of women there that were cruel. I think around chapter 12-13 she went to have tea with the other ladies and they were literally talking sh*t about her (in front of her!!?). The the ex fiancé was making it so obvious that she hates the fl. (●￣(ｴ)￣●)
