The issue is that even if you did pay for it, you'd still get the same result. It would probably be worse since you actually had to spend money on something that skips like that. I'd also say that multi story yaoi manga in general is obnoxious because you end up thinking there will be more story than there actually is. I feel like, if you're gonna make a multi story manga then separate it into separate editions because I've almost never ever gotten attached or wanted to read the next chapters when they don't pertain to the first plot/story. This is one of the many issues I have with yaoi. I won't say any of the others since they don't pertain to this comment, however.
why do mangakas do this? why do they ALWAYS jump from one story to another without any closure from the previous story? for example, in the first story, the development was just starting to get really good only to find out that in the next chapter, the story has changed to an entirely different plot with different characters. from reading the summary alone, you would expect it to be only focusing on one story. at least give readers some warnings that it’s just a bunch of one shots so we don’t expect anything.
