so when the 7th prince was a child he was kidnapped & nearly got sold to slave trader who thought that 7th prince was a beautiful girl ..but was saved by fl ..7th prince fell in love with her since then ... but she got married after that her husband died & she was banished ...During that time she meet with people who took her in & placed her in place of the dead saintess who looked liked her ..
then she met with 7th prince & god married to him was happy until she found out her picture at 7th prince's place ...she thought 7th prince liked the saint & used her as substitute .so its nothing but misunderstanding on her part

I think it was when she became empress that people started whispering about their love story and there was a gossip that he was always in love with the original saint so she thought she once again became a replacement (you probably know by know but I'm just gonna leave this here lol)
