Tldr; just enjoy the ride y’all, this wild ride that I have no clue where it’s going
ahah you couldn't have worded it any better. I had high hopes when I first read this but now its a generic smutty story where readers romanticize abuse LOL. im actually surprised that there are genuinely ppl who ship them. SH has shown no signs of change, nothing. the only thing that has changed about him is he doesnt deny he cares for NK, but thats it, he's still violent as ever and his mood swings are still raging all the time. NK likes SH bc SH is the only one who has shown him romantic interest and cares about him (food, clothing, shelter, physical needs etc), so now he's attached obviously. im ngl I dont mind them being together, but like you said ppl shouldn't expect so much for them bc they never had a normal relationship to begin with. as soon as the manwha got popular, I felt like the plot went downhill, maybe the author is rushed or pressured or whatever so I hope this hiatus helps the story be what it used to be.
“Shown no signs of change” do you read with your eyes closed?
SH is bad, what’s new. Honestly if this story is ending soon, SH is not going to get a good redemption arc if any. It would take another 60+ chapters for him to have a successful redemption. So don’t be surprise if it ends with him being a bad guy at this point. Also someone point to me where it says “this story is a healthy representation of a relationship”.. right it doesn’t say that anywhere. (I hope readers have two brain cells to realize that this relationship is toxic) So don’t act surprise if their relationship dynamic is still the same at the end.
But like where is the character development...like what’s the point if there’s no character development? Who knows, this might be just a plot based story where the characters are mostly static.
