Those are my exact same thoughts! I liked Akudama a lot more than Nonfiction (▰˘◡˘▰)
i dont understand why ppl are saying nonfiction is better than akudama. well it all comes down to the readers' opinions.

the first manga is def my style. something dark & twisted with happy ending. tho i personally think it's not dark. at all. i would probably label it as psychology, maybe 20% twisted. but def not dark.
