Hmmm...that is an interesting point. I am only partially way through, ch.17, but is pretty cute so far. I actually think that the perfect manga to introduce you to this genre is Cat Street, if you haven't read it already. Black Bird is good but kind of traditional shoujo, IMO. Cat Street is heartwarming and mostly about friendship and healing with the romance being secondary (but awesome). I can't imagine it will leave you with a bitter feeling after. If you like it, then maybe you can try more shoujo/romance like Black Bird

It's really good! I don't normally read shoujo, but I loved this! And trust me, while you might feel envious sometimes, there is plenty of stuff happening that you wouldn't want to happen to you.
i want to read this manga..but it is a shojuo/romance manga..and i haven't read any mangas with that kind of genre..why? 'cause i feel that i might end up feeling bitter about myself not having a good love life ever..i might end up feeling envious and miserable and become "dreamy" again..and i hate being dreamy..but i really want to read this cause i think it has a good plot..tell me..please..
