when it comes to reincarnation stories I no longer look at the main characters past life age. new life, a new person. so in that case I don't really see him as a sexual/child predator after lil kids when they are the same age as him. That’s exactly how I see it but it is weird to think that a “34 or 44” year old man is looking at kids his age that part in itself is hard to ignore but I ignore it anyways because like you said we both tend to ignore all that because we see him as the same age as those kids mentally or not
In all honesty I can see why this story is called the “parent of isekai”. No matter how bad his thought process is the story isn’t bad and the concept is actually really cool. My heart dropped as well when I found out Paul cheated it was horrible, but I kept reading and it’s cute how Rudy didn’t want to break up the family and it can be seen throughout the story. Even thou there’s a lot about this story that can be said it’s shit, you can’t deny the sudden transportation magic and the foreshadow from the beginning of the story was cool and really well though out.
And yes thou it is absolutely disgusting how he’s like 34 or 44 whatever looking at little girls sexually he is in that body their age so I mean it’s not a pass of course not but no one in that world knows or believe whether he’s a perverted little kid or a sexual predator
