Phew i cant believe i’ve been holding off from reading this for so long. Zec has definitely become one of my favorite BL authors for writing more complex characters like eunho and jaeha. I’m not gonna sit here and say one is a saint and one isnt. They both did what they did for a reason and i think the author wrapped things up beautifully ALTHOUGH i wish there was a side story about Hanjun. Like did he find happiness??? Like Zec could totally make a new manhwa with Hanjun as the main character just saying. Also i knew about Lover Boy but i actually decided to read The New Employee first and i’m so happy to see how much the author’s art has improved ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~

Athough with all said and done, it still didnt sit well with me what Eunho did after he met Jaeha again after the time skip. Pressuring Jaeha to have sex with him and shaming him about his sex toy, forcing to have sex with him without using lube and condom. Like no matter what Jaeha did to him in the past he still didnt have the right to do this and well i guess the only consolation i have is that in later chapters eunho realized how wrong his actions were but yea

Yesss! This! Honestly I feel like Eunho did so much worse things than Jaeha did. Jaeha broke up with Eunho but that's fully within his rights to do so. He also did it for Eunho's sake. He should have tried to talk it out first but ultimately he only tried to protect Eunho. He also isn't obligated to return anyone's feelings.

Eunho on the other hand deliberately tried to hurt Jaeha just because he felt hurt and resentful. And in my opinion he used the worst way possible, using sex as punishment, which is NEVER okay. He forced, blackmailed, and guilt tripped him into having sex with him and then shames him for agreeing to it. He deliberately tries to make sex painful by refusing to use protection and lube and also doesn't stop when told it hurts. Consistently he tries to shame and humiliate Jaeha by saying he should give a blowjob on his knees, that he's a slut for having a sex toy etc etc.

And yeah, I also try to console myself by that he in the later chapters realised what he did wrong, but it still didn't sit well with me. I mean, even after hearing about Jaeha's tragic past and acknowledging what he did was wrong, he's like "I don't know if I can forgive you yet so give me some time". I mean, shouldn't it be the reverse? Isn't it Jaeha who should be given time to forgive Eunho for all the terrible things he did?
