I just wonder... it is just me or actually many are forget that All Eren seeks since young age is freedom - all he want is just freedom for him, his family and people in paradis. Everyone in Reiner team are thinking Paradis people are devil.... only Falco that question the brainwashing done by Marley. If Eren did not make move the entire world will join force with Marley and destroy paradise. And sadly paradise never know there’s are other human outside wall and the6 have no allies. He hear the entire speech by Willy, I suppose he know wha5 the world plotting against paradis. All he want is just freedom. No hero or villain in war... they are looking from different angle. If Eren has to die... then he die... he have fight so much he need rest. This manga only left few chapter but it that is longer for example Eren die... then Marley and whe whole world fight against paradise, do you think they can fight back and win? Or paradise will just become history and will no longer exist?

Right about now, after everything Eren has done, the marleyans are willing to make peace with the eldians due to the killings they are witnessing. I forgot what chapter it is but someone is speaking that if they could turn back time, they would do things differently.

Thanks for the insight, probably I misse that chapter. The one that offer peace was Marley government or just the army that get caught by the survey corps? They willing to make peace sincerely because they realised what they did so far was wrong or the knew that Eren is over power them and they know whatever they do Marley can never win against Eren? If Eren never have the founding Titan will they still offer peace? The culture of brainwashing was happen for a very long time, all generations in Marley having the same believe that paradise is devil, that mindset can’t be change overnight. What I can see from Eren side... his entire life was fighting, witnessed horror just to seek for his freedom and the people of paradise. Tbh the only character from Marley side I like the most is Falco, because he was the only one that question whether what they did is right or wrong.

They should be more people outside the wall, it just paradis people are not aware until 850 I think. I’m not against anyone who want Eren to die, if he has to die then He has to die. But the way I see Eren character is that he just fighting for his freedom, his family and all paradis people. He take the burden all to himself, If the world have common enemy and everyone will unite to destroy it, and I think Eren understand that pretty well. Thus Eren make shields of his friend so that he will be the only one to blame. Let’s wait next chapter his action maybe more clear.

Honestly that’s a pity. I don’t agree with Eren’s plans at all but I still like Eren. The whole point of AOT is understanding perspectives. Everyone is who they are for a reason. It’s hard to judge Eren with our morals, becuase his experiences honestly go beyond human comprehension. I can’t hate Eren when I know he’s a product of his world and really really wanted good things from the start. When you see that others are flawed individuals jsut like you, that’s when the cycle of hate can stop. Accepting that humans and human nature is flawed is the key to peace. So hating Eren sorta ruins that point.

I want Eren to die too at this point, for some different reasons tho. It’s sad that so many glorifying his actions. And it’s also sad that so many hate him without maybe trying to be in his shoes. Doing either goes against the whole message. He’s the absolute centerpiece of this story and embodies a lot of themes. He’s a great character, likeability aside.
