I get realistic character development but this is slow as shit. Usually female protagonists are special in a cannot be replaced way but generally deficit in other areas to make them relatable to readers. But she's so deficit it's just annoying to read. She makes the same mistakes over and over and over again. Which is basically overestimating her strengths, going in with zero skill but the desperate need to "contribute", then regretting it when she realises people have to pull more weight to cover up for her incompetence.
If she really wanted to aid in the rescue process she could have very well assisted in the rehabilitation of the species after they have been rescued which is more within her skill set instead of trying to be where the action is just because she wants to be more involved.
Also I'm sus the white haired bad boy rangae is that blonde boy who saved her in the very first chapters.
