From what i can get from the novel. Jeremy was furious, tried to kill the head knight of Shuli and even strangled Ohara(her bride to be). The twins pleads to Jeremy crying to find out the culprit. Nora here in the 1st timeline was part of the police force and was trying to find out who's behind the murder.
*Graphic* Shuli's body was dismembered cut up to many pieces and was scattered that they have a hard time finding it all. Her head was found beneath a waterfall.
Nora helped with the case and found out that the temple/cardinal was behind thus the Emperor declaring civil war because of the betrayal of the temple.
OH GOD WHY DO THEY HAVE TO SUFFER SO MUCH ಥ‿ಥ
