I think she went through a lot of trauma with this situation, and she just wants to live a drama free life now and not relive that horrible past, and he just thinks it's no big deal because he is a spoiled mama's boy which is the complete opposite of our ML. Remember, she said she wanted to be in a relationship with her job, and of course, the perfect man is there waiting to scoop her up and wreck her plans. The way he treated her made her gun shy of a new relationship, but the ML finally got her to commit to him.
Just wait until the ML finds out about it! I'm sure he'll have plenty to say, and of course, his mom is gonna flip out over that because she wants him with that idiot's sister.
