a lot of people are saying they’re suspicious of the seme and they don’t know why, but for me it’s because he invalidates the uke’s feelings left and right. he shames him into thinking he’s a bother for feeling that way and even leaves and gives off the impression that he doesn’t want to deal with the uke unless he changes. the uke had a real fear towards what would happen if they were outed, and while he seemed to be using that as an excuse for running away and avoiding his problems, it’s still a very valid fear. the seme just brushes it off like it makes no sense for him to be feeling that way tho. the seme repeatedly pushes the uke's boundaries little by little throughout the whole manga and doesn’t check in with him to see if he’s ok with it. he doesn’t ever step over or cross that line which is why so many people can’t think of a definite reason to feel badly about him, but he definitely toes the line repeatedly. this is the behavior of a gaslighting boyfriend in the long run. if you guys have anything to add on or contest feel free to do so! also props to anyone who read this whole thing.
