I didn't understand that way. Him getting a date with Hwan was meant as some kind of payment for fighting monsters. But that doesn't necessarily mean that once he got the payment their contract is fulfilled. As far as I know there is no time limit. Just that he has to fight them until they're defeated.

It's not about whether it's official or not. Your question was why Sunny is even still here because Chiwoo's wish was fulfilled. I was saying that Sunny never said their contract would expire if Chiwoo's wish was fulfilled. His wish was to date Hwan but in exchange he must fight the monsters until the evil power is sealed away. That has not happened yet so Chiwoo hasn't fulfilled his part of the contract yet.
