I think she was trying to curse the brother because she was mad at him, like "one of these days you'll fall and break your nose" sort of thing. And since she wished it with all her might she indeed used her power subconsciously... From what I can tell.

Maybe she did that subconsciously, like I think she knew she could do it but just underdevolped and it kinda did that blossoming or awaken all of a sudden and it resulted to that. If she can't exactly control it then im sticking to that. Still confused tho smh
