Thank you for enjoying my corset rant ^^ now when you hear celebraties prattle about getting rid of corsets for movie costumes as feminism you know they are talking donkey crap and are saying it because they lack any braincell to actively look up what they preach. I'm looking at Emma Watson. A really nice informative and fun way to learn more on corsets is to watch the Try Guys video where the guys wear corsets while doing theyre normal day activities! For more fashion talk i do watch this one lady but I'd need to search for her since i can't recall the name! If you want to know just tell me :>

The corset misconception! Corsets are actually very comfortable if properly sized and put on correctly. They corrected the back and something that you never see in these mangas that really dont do too much research on clothing, MEN WORE THEM TOO. It helped them look more dignified. Men usually didn't deal with the problem women had however, which was the desire to make their waist even thinner. People pulled them too tight and thats when problems would arise. Over time, with training, they could have naturally gone that small without the rash decision to just do it. Most corset hate propaganda was from MEN. Surprising??? No. Men usually made hate speech about any new women fashion. They never shut up about it because to them the only thing that mattered about a woman then was how she looked.
Not just nobles and aristocrats wore them as well. Commoner women wore them as they did labor. Why? It was basically their bra and support. And again, good for a bad back! Consider getting a corset for your achy back ;)
and its not just that i read corsets are comfy! I'm asthmatic but i put on a corset, ate a lot of pizza, and DANCED all in one night for a Halloween party. How could I do all of this with a corset? Because i didnt tighten it so much I saw God is how. Once it was getting too tight i stopped. Also don't worry abut your organs moving around. They're fine they'll go back right after. Doesn't matter how long you keep it on either because women get be pregnant for 9months have their organs moved our of place a bit and are just fine after
