she's not begging, she made a politically sound decision considering (1) she knows zilch about ruling a country (2) the prince is already v.sus about her and thinks she's up to something and words won't cut it to make her intentions clear (3) if she even tries going against the prince, as per the story, she doesn't just endanger herself but the other characters as well
