He is pressured by his actual bf and bc he knows he is jealous, insecure and doesn't wanna hurt him, pushing him away as soon as possible was the right choice.
literally how i’d put my words into as well. im fine with a proper closure but the mc literally woke up one day knowing he cant have the man he loved anymore and probably feels so unstable and sad over it. his health isn’t the greatest and yet he gives him half assed responses too only to weigh more on his already weak mind and body.
Yeah, before anything else, they were friends for 25 (include comatose 30) years man. Him severing their connection just like that.... this sh*t has just no excuses.
All the characters feelings are valid. I tried to put myself on everyone's shoes, of course the most complicated is the ex bf. I wouldn't even know what to do, his new bf was there in his darkest time and definitely just yeeting him off all of a sudden is not an option. But one thing I would never do is WHY TREAT THE UKE LIKE THAT. He was fucking comatose, he's so badly unstable and feeble rn but the bitch actually slapped him with 'oh ur back? Hi, now leave'. I know he was tryna push him away but the uke couldn't even think straight!! Couldn't you at least give some consideration for a sick person. At least some 'I'd like to think about for some time', even if you were only giving him false hope thats still acceptable, FUCKING TREAT HIM LIKE A PERSON
Not to mention they were childhood friends!! They been there since they were sucking their momma's boo, I'd at least understand if it was someone he just met along the way, but fucker really threw ALL their relationship just for some new fucker he only has half assed feelings for. They coulda at least stay friends or acquaintances.
There were many ways to approach this but sis really went on the douchebag route.
