Is there a possible translation issue in the pages?
There’s no major errors in the official translation. It’s just that Rourou was raised in the non-traditional(?) way. Most likely Yi yun just didn’t teach him to call him daddy because he wants to have a casual, fun but loving relationship with his son. I’m thinking Rourou is pretty much aware that Yi yun is his (legal, at least in paper) father, but he is just wondering about the “usual” family dynamic that consists of a dad and mom, which clearly he didn’t have.
So let me get this right... Even before Feng was in the picture did Rourou not understand or realize that Yiyi was his father/daddy? #－.－)
