i believe that after she had lost her powers and bore a mutant child, she was useless to them. which means they would either have killed them, or like the old fart sayd, bc they were both so pretty, rape them to death, even if she was just a small child
to protect her baby for as long as she could, she did that

You're right, she did say she had no foresight anymore.
As far as I read this, her mom was a very strong sybil, and a beauty at that, after being gangraped she got pregnant, (no one in the village knew of the repulsive and disgusting actions of those four assholes) and after giving birth she lost her Sybil powers because she foresaw her daughter's future (which she feared so she went against it and while exhausting her powers in the process to foresee into finding the right future were her daughter will live a peaceful life which also caused her blindness.), In doing so she became useless to the village (whom profit out of using their powers of healing) mutants are considered to be outcast but powerful so the mom in order to stay with her daughter in the village and not to be bothered, she offered her daughter's blood too. (Which it would've help her daughter to stay alive since their blood becomes toxic or poison if not be released in amounts).
When they poisoned the mom, the mom already knew this but she still went with the plan (even though she was still scared) her death wouldn't be in vain since it was part of the prophecy she oversaw.
So if I understand correctly, being a sybil is something super important (seeing as they wouldn't dare to send her daughter to the emperor if she were alive and feared godly retribution) so HOW IS IT THAT THEY COULD GET AWAY WITH GANGRAPING HER?????
I mean, intellectually I understand the treatment of the mom if she had had no powers and was just an outsider but it said she was important. The hell !!
Plus I still don't get why she was willing to give away her daughter's blood to them (even though she had to let the blood out, why volunteer the information to the effing rapists????)
