It hasn't been tragic so far. I mean they have their own problems but they don't make you cry I guess
I feel it's the background that is tragic not the ending, but... do not know the ending, so it could be tragic!
I've read the spoilers it's not going to end up in a tragedy.

The first prince is executed for the attempt murder of the emperor. Lilith's mum dies her dad blames it on Lilith and he dies. So it's a bloody mess for the antagonists. nothing bad happens to Lilith, payne, rebbeca, sasha and arth
