From what i’ve read of the spoilers the Duke does not remember his past fully but he does get flashbacks and he does remember some stuff in random spasms. Also the real Cossete is dead she died after birth, there is currently a demon inside her body who possesses powers. Cossette is currently after power and so once kiera dies the whole empire starts to crumple and that’s when the duke finds that wizard guy to reverse time. (Sorry if this isn’t completely accurate if I made an error please correct me)
