Yeah I find it super annoying. No one is that naive and somehow it always ends with them falling for their rapist after they suddenly start to show just a little care smdh.
It's even beyond that. In these rapist-victim cliches at least there is a motive for the victim to not be able to escape after the first encounters and ultimately getting attached to their rapists, be it via blackmailing, studying/living/working on the same place, rapist being a stalker, ect. Here the victim literally could've just ignored the messages and end of the story lol I don't mind trashy and degenerate fiction with good smutt, but this still disappointed a little hahahaha
