Its either that or they randomly start crying about how much they miss the Fl the second they become happy with someone else. I like this more though because its not immediately after she dies because its consistent with his apathetic character.
I like how the ml is actually aware of the bad things he's done in the past to the fl and questions if he even has the right to be this happy with her.
In some manwha's people act like all the past abuse was just some water under the bridge and they all go about happily.
So it's nice to see he feels a lot of guilt and is trying his best to make up for his actions, even if the fl doesn't remember the past.
