You’re right. I feel like a lot of the hate is amplified by the translator’s notes. Personally, Rashta does annoy the hell out of me, but I cant even imagine myself in her situation. What makes me more annoyed than Rashta though is that a lot of the commenters put the blame on her 100% when Sovieshu is the one in the relationship (and the one in control). I read the spoilers and Rashta’s end honestly made me feel more angry than I thought.
I think the hate is because she doesnt know her place. I read the novel before it was taken down and she was really full of herself that she forgot her own standing. I get what you mean that maybe its a way to scape her slavery but obtaining happiness while hurting someone in the process is something we do not tolerate.
I completely agree. I really dislike her but everyone seems to forget that she's here mainly because of the dumb emperror

Honestly I feel like Rashta isn’t as bad as y'all make her to be. She's extremely greedy. She had a bad luck from the very beginning for being born as a slave. She did all she could to escape from the slavery. She wanted Navier at her side at first but when she failed to do that she decided to go all against her. She is really annoyingly dumb at times. I also feel like Rashta and Souveshi doesn’t like each other at all. For Rashta he was a way to vreak free from slavery and for Souveshi she was a mere infatuation whome he already got over. I thought he was blinded by love at first but then I realized maybe he was doing all these to make the empress jealous. He is extremely selfish and doesn’t give a shit about Rashta ot Navier.He probably is divorcing Navier only so his child can become an official prince/princess
