This is just my opinion, but I feel like the male lead is being a little too soft. Listen, you’ve only known her for like a week or something and you’ve already grown enough of an attachment to be sad about a lie. Come on man, even if you are employee and employer, they usually aren’t that close. I understand he has the sad anime backstory, but shouldn’t his backstory rather bring up trust issues.
