The father was insane, he ate people, once Ayato (One of the twins.) visited father, with his brother Yuzuru (The blonde) but the father managd to kill and eat Ayato. Yuzuru survived BUT of course had a trauma from that and basically blocked this whole horrible memory, his whole childhood was at this point temporarily erased. Takumi from the start wanted a revange, because Ayato died and Yuzuru survived, though they fell in love instead. Yuzuru afterwards somehow get his memories back, as I said, his brain blocked traumatic memories to protect itself, but somehow Yuzuru managed to remember again. After realizing the cruel truth behind his memories, Yuzuru tried to commit suicide to be with his family once again, he failed, luckily. Takumi afterwards told him he still has him. Blah, blah. In the end they both decided on leaving. As you can see on the last pages, they moved to the old house, where their father and family previously lived. The end.
It's actually very simple, I forgot to add, Ayato and Takumi were twins. That's most likely why Takumi had the desire to take a revage.
Small update to the end of the story. I'm not really sure what caused their death, but the last page, where they both disappeard when the boy turned around, that were actually their ghosts. ^^ There's really not well explained the cause of their death, maybe the train or something, to be honest the manga doesn't explain it very well.
