If he wasn't gay he wouldn't leave her no matter what. In relationship if two people have stronger trust in each other no third party can affect it. The story is short so many points aren't that clear which is ok. Nobody hating the girl she's so sweet & funny. They should've included her getting new boyfriend / girlfriend.

I’m surprised so many people are hating on the ex-girlfriend when the blonde dude was literally trying to homewreck the MC’s relationship. He knew the MC was dating the girl and that he was even considering marriage, yet he still kept trying to get in the way and sent him letters and letters which ultimately caused the MC to gain feelings and break it off with the ex. I get it, people’s feelings can change and not everyone will only stay with one person their whole life but come on. It was so shitty, the blonde dude was only thinking about his own feelings without even thinking of how the girl would feel. It’s like if some dude came in and tried getting in the way of the blondie, I bet he’d feel like shit and people in the comments would be insulting the dude to the max. It would be one thing if the MC gained feelings for blonde dude naturally and without blondie purposely aiming for it, but that’s not what happened. It wasn’t right for her to kiss him without his consent at the end, but it was also not right for someone to purposely break up her relationship with the MC due to their own selfish feelings.
