That's not a kink. If we're speaking in terms of the story, it is definitely rape and it's definitely a crime. But if we were speaking in terms of where someone wanted a rapey sex play, then that's still consensual and it wouldn't compare to what's happening in the story. Y'all weird if y'all are shipping the victim with their rapist and is excusing the rapist actions because he's handsome. So yeah, there you go. That's what the problem is. I've read like 2 BLs where the characters consensually roleplayed or acted out a rape, which then you can consider a kink. in comparison to this (sun's blood) where Gabriel is actually being raped by vampire.

This is why authors need to stop romanticizing actual rape.

Um, I don’t see how this author romanticized it? I didn’t either. I clearly said I liked the character, because I didn’t like him. He’s the perfect character to hate so that the story can progress as the author wants. I never said I wanted Gabriel to be with him. However I never said others were wrong for shipping Gabriel with Paulo. (Since I’m gonna go down that road, before Saliou came up being alive, I did like Paulo for awhile and hoped that something would change in the relationship with Gabriel and Paulo. Sadly it didn’t, but it’s not my story, and as it progressed, I liked the Saliou and Gabriel ship.) Shaming someone just because they like a particular couple ship shouldn’t be anyone’s concern except their own, in my opinion. That also doesn’t make rape okay in real life.

That said.. Some need to disassociate themselves from a fictional story. This has nothing to do with real life, if you project real life onto this, then clearly you might need some help, because this is a fictional story/world that the author CREATED themselves. No one has to read it, no one has to like it, no one is making anyone read it. If you don’t like the story, it might be best to stop reading it and just let those of us that like to read it and want to know what happens, read it in peace. (づ￣ ³￣)づ

I've looked at your profile to see your opinions on some other stories that I'm also reading and I saw you are reading "Master of Master" but in the last chapter Jonggu almost rapes Eunchol and your comment on it was "omg the dog and the redhead desserve better, this uke is the worst" Are you by any means blaming the victim here? Why did you bring race into first of all, in me addressing what Paulo does is rape, I've never brought up race at all because it has nothing to do with it. I actual kept the energy the same for all of the stories I've read. Master of Master, I literally said the dog was wrong for attempting to rape him. That's the very difference between the dog and this vampire. The dog immediately reflected on his actions right after. Paulo still continues to rape Gabriel, miss ma'am. For Rojiura Pussycat, I for sure kept the same energy because the people that read that story are similar to the people who read Sun's Blood. I never once said “OH, THAT IS SOOOO ROMANTIIIC.”. Nor did the author. Now if this was a real life video of real life rape, and I found it hot or romantic, I myself would worry about my own well-being, considering I don’t condone the act. Again, this is fiction.
