This past chapter I could totally imagine someone being reborn into the body of Sejanne and just meeting Kainer before Saye and saving him first. And Saye would just be revealed to be that "protagonist that cries all the time and is always saved by others" like so many other isekai "original protagonists" lol and then Kainer would actually have more of a "falling in love" type of story rather than just one event
I love thinking this way too! It really changes everyone's views on a character if we switch perspectives and have this "time travel reincarnation" part!
right?? the current story has beautiful art, but it is just so predictable and there's no overarching conflict.. there's mini issues that are solved right away but it feels like it could end at any chapter because of how uneventful it is
