Yea same , the prologue didn’t explain much
Some entity created this AR game where someone"curses" a couple. The curse drags them into a battle Royal. They are on a team but must remain 4m apart at all time or boom. On top of keeping their distance the UI will give them hunting missions where they have to kill part of another team. Winning the hunt allows them to have what amounts to a conjugal visit when time is up they must separate again. The ML has a personality disorder, FL loves him regardless (she probably also has a personality disorder but not as severe as his)
