Later she cries on the teacher (I think)--do you think she told him? Would that make her a target, and if so, would that mean Azusa goes up in rank?

No. It's just that the rules of the game say that anyone who doesn't play or who tattles becomes the target, and in the raw it looks as if she may be spilling the beans. It's just conjecture. But if she tells, she should become the target--especially if she does it in front of everyone.
