I feel the same when reading the novel. Poor Eclise, but the brainwashing is the trigger for his possessiveness, and for me he become the saddest character. Penelope a consistent character until the end, not even give a slightest pity for Eclise
Yes, also I hate how Penelope doesn't even have a character development. She stayed selfish and if Eclise is someone who can't benefit her I bet she would even give an eye for him. I dropped the novel yesterday, her attitude is so hard to handle
