OMG I'm dying, "crusty, musty rat needs to die." HAHAHAH! Poor rats, they've done nothing and serve as a pillar for testing in medical research that save countless human lives every day! (My best friend was a vet and used to say this every time rats were used as slander...though my favorite insult is to call someone a 'rat bastard' lol). I like the Stockholm Syndrome bit. I think unlike other stories (like Killing Stalking) where the audience gets a bad case of this to empathize with the protagonist/victim, the FL's internal monologue here serves as a constant reality check that she's using this as a ruse to get the upper hand on her captor and make that rat bastard the prey cuz at the end of the day "he's a man concerned with pleasure only." loser. I think the bait and switch (by putting on the facade of Stockholm Syndrome) will make his death and her revenge all the sweeter.
I totally agree with u i hope that white hair guy rots in jail for the rest of his life. She had an such a beatuful life she has a caring husband supportive family and succesful career... And she lost all of this bc she defenced herself getting killed and raped. This is sad as fuck :(
i remember reading spoilers and some of the novel and dw she doesn't fall for him in the end. I wont spoil unless anyone asks but yeah they dont end up together. Fu sheng makes me wanna punch him and beat him up so bad like-

I hate Fu Sheng so much idc how much they try to make their interactions seem all "cUtE" and make him seem like some pOoR miSuNdErStOoD sOuL he fucking raped her and ruined her life. my face hurts from cringing whenever he appears on the screen. I hope he rots in jail and that last scene where he tried to be all "oh you will never love me boo hoo" is fucking dumb, he tries to play the sympathy card after RUINING HER LIFE AND MAKING IT MISERABLE LIKE THE FUCK?!?? if the author pulls the stockholm syndrome thing and fl falls for him I'm dropping this that white haired crusty musty rat needs to die
