Seungho’s history is still clouded and unknown, but in terms of his behaviour, it is very well developed. You can tell he’s prideful, manipulative, and sadistic just from how he tries to control Nakyum in season one, and you don’t need him to get someone killed or have the reader read his thoughts to show that (though he basically does kill someone in the first chapter). Aka when he puts the teacher "in his place" when they went hunting, or when nakyum was bathing, and seungho thinks its better for nakyum to hate him for killing the teacher as opposed for raping him. He still shows that he cares for the boy in his own way; the only thing stopping him is his pride.
This story is a classic rape plot trope.
The seme goes through a redemption arc, he will have some kind of background that humanizes him. The author already started writing this.
There are absolutely not one single reader here who actually 'found the rape hot'. They are following the lead of the author who, mainly with her promotional merch, ship this couple --- meaning that Seungho, the 'rapist' will get a path that will allow him to be with Nakyum and creates a Seungho who, in this unrealistic world of Yaoi logic, will become the kind of man that deserves Nakyum.
The readers follow the author's indication that these two can be happy, their own way, in this unrealistic fiction.
I feel that there are a lot of readers who either pretend or are not really not aware yet that they picked a story like Warehouse, where the rape is part of the dark drama, the hard part to go through but the premise is not that the rape is hot, what makes the couple hot is all the promotion of a redemption that makes the couple viable.
Let's all remember these words: If you don't like the direction of the story better not read it. Shipping the couple means to see them as a couple or believe that they can be together at the end, what the author clearly does.
So please let's be coherent: If a reader accepts the plot that the author is doing, it means they accept that the author is creating a relationship for them even after what Seungho did. If the author doesn't stay hung up on the rape part of the drama and moves along the plot in a way that the relationship develops, most readers do so because they understand that is the formula they signed up for.
Neither the author nor anyone here will be 'condoner of rape' just because one wrote the couple getting together and others rooted for it.

All these people saying Seungho isn’t a well-written character bro but he’s the best written character in this entire manhwa. “Well-written” does not mean morally good. A well-written character is a character who’s background, character, etc has been thought out. Once his past is revealed, a lot of things about the type of person he is will fall into place.

Well, you used sangwoo as an example, who is heavily developed by his backstory. Even sangwoo is erratic and “all over the place”, as you put it. But just because Seungho isn’t aware of his feelings and reacts differently DOES NOT mean he is under developed as a character, and if you can’t see it, you’re the delusional one. Your version of “development” must be a naive perception of how a person changes because the author literally spells it out for you. Maybe try to learn to read between the lines hun. If anything, Nakyum is the one who is bland and underdeveloped (but probably suffering from Stockholm syndrome), but hey, I wouldn’t expect someone who calls this a simple yaoi story to be able to see that.

This story is bland along with its characters. The only difference this has between other cliche manga/manhwa is just the art style. Just because this character is a asshole and starts liking Nakyum doesn’t make him a “well developed” character. Just makes him more of an asshole.
Lol tht is why byeonduck is making a small progress outta him coz she wanna take it slow with him being an underdeveloped character (and also nakyum hes annoying). Just bc u felt tht this story is long doesnt mean tht its near to end. Well yes seungho is a damn asshole but character developement is just starting to begin. But well see
i think some of you are missing the entire point of this story. seungho is a morally "bad" character on purpose, the author said it herself. that doesn't mean you can't like his character for being well written, but it becomes a problem when you unknowingly like him for the wrong reasons. seungho and nakyum's relationship is clearly not written to be an "oMG cUtE yAoi cOuplE" but somehow people are taking it that way and finding the rape and abuse hot, which i'm 99% sure the author did not intend for. the story does contain all this toxicity, but that doesn't make it badly written because the author intends for the reader to NOT take their relationship dynamic as something good. if you don't like the direction of the story don't read it, but at the same time don't accuse the author of being a rape condoner because that is literally the opposite of the point of this story
