So she only turns white when the Light powers are activated? if so, I hope they stick to her beautiful dark skin as the norm.

No. There was a backlash to the change of skin tone in Japan, so they reprinted to keep her original dark skin.

Personally, I think people are fed up with "white skin means beautiful". Especially in Asia, where hey shove it down your throat.

SAY IT LOUDER TO THOSE IN THE BACK. colorism is everywhere, especially in hispanic/latinx shows and movies you will always see a lighter skinned girl or guy and think wow thats the beauty standard for mexican or lantinx ppl, but theres dark skinned brown queens too!!!!!!
