Annie and her dad approaching each other after 9 years.... both of them have been waiting for this moment ever since Annie left Marley to infiltrate Paradis Island. Just as she’s about to reunite with her dad, he turns into a titan, and she’s lost another loved one. I’ve reread this chapter over and over again and this scene still makes me so sad, they were SO CLOSE to reuniting, and it was all Annie ever really wanted to do. :^(
