She is not a weak character but she got stronger by every battle since.

And anyone who has read it properly from the beginning can tell Lucy is the exact opposite of weak, she shares so much bravery and other characteristics with her brother!!!!!!!

Before i continue reading this one i wanna ask sthg is lucy gonna be a burden in each battle ? And will she avoid killing mindy to have her annoy the hell of me in the next chapters ?
