In North America it was 14 before 2018. Just a year difference. Basically the same. Maybe you should check your own country as well.

in the US, a 16 year old can date a 21 year old. However sexual relationships can be charged for statutory rape. But a lot of people do it anyway. As long as both parties consent fully while sober and in the right mind, then I don’t care. But if its through manipulation or some sort of persuasion then I have an issue with it. Other people can do whatever they want, its not my business and unless I’m told or hinted at the need for help, then I keep my mouth shut and don’t interfere.
