I think they mean we like him as a villain. The smarter and more powerful a villain is the more interesting the story gets. That depends on the writing too but tbh who’d want a weak villain
I mean i get the idea that a good villain means the readers love to hate them, but ppl r saying “i love the guy” or “i rlly like Mangryo”, i even saw one that said “if only Mangryo was younger and hotter” <—this i don’t get, he is a good well-made villain tho, so i love hating him
I dont get y ppl like Mangryo..? I mean we kno his end goal is to kill the mc for revenge, like he experimented and tortured a little kid, he’s killing innocent ppl to blame the mc, and now i’m pretty sure that even if jagang doesn’t kill anyone in this millet sect, Mangryo will kill all of them to blame him anyways
