Didn't much care for the first story. The uke could've done much better than a seme who hits him to make him stop resisting sex he clearly didn't want.

Loved the rest of the stories, though, and would love a continuation for all of them, not just Like That. They all deserved their own stories.

I didn't care for it as a love story, but I sneakily have to admit I love how the seme is (rightfully!) still tormented by what he did. That little bit at the end in his POV was well done and fairly heartwrenching, especially considering the length! It makes his decision to just up and leave the uke, even though he loves him, way more poignant. He's still totally in the wrong, of course, he should at *least* have said something about his reason. "I wish you all the best, and hope you can find someone who treats you kindly, as you deserve." Something like that. It would have made things a hell of a lot easier on the uke over the years.

I agree, though, that all of the others could have stood more chapters. Except possibly the last one. I liked the hopeful note it ended on. It felt like the sun peeking out after a cloudy day to make a gorgeous sunset as it is.

Would I still think it was a well done and heartwrenching bit of storytelling, one with a great deal of heart, some real emotion, and a surprisingly realistic backstory? Yes. Would I still read it when I'm a particular mood and want my feelings to hurt after? Yes.

Do I think the uke should *ever* have gone back to him? No. Not at all. Not even here.

There's a difference between admiring the writing, art, and storytelling and agreeing with the content and the choices the characters make.

I'm a sucker for well-done, true remorse, even if I don't think the character should ever be forgiven.
