Currently the only theory that’s keeping me going is that when Gojo went to work abroad he met up with Yuuta(which is canon) and the theory is that he went to talk about Itadori and make Yuuta into a double agent and rn since Itadori has 15/20 fingers he’s testing whether or not Itadori can still control Sukuna (if he can’t then Yuuta will follow through with execution orders but if he can maintain him then he’ll be the double agent and pretend like he killed Itadori). I also believe this bc Rika could’ve killed Itadori right then and there but instead she just held him down and Yuuta hates the higher ups and the Zen’in clan so I don’t think he’ll side with them (especially with the fact that Naoya introduced himself as the head which is the position Maki is striving for and Yuuta promised to help her). Also another theory is that Megumi found Itadori bc of that one panel of Sukuna, ppl are guessing that Sukuna sensed Megumi’s curse energy. Also a personal theory is that Itadori is the youngest of the 10 paintings and this is solely bc Akutami said Itadori’s parents are connected to Choso and Kamo
