So I read the spoilers and I don't really feel sad bc its ending but sad bc after all the story I never really liked Yuki as much as I probably shloud've(I don't hate her tho) she was always jealous and even though she loves naruse and knows naruse loves her she still gave hope to Hakamada over and over again, he tried to give her up but then she would go to him and relied on him for her problems which made him feel closer to her. She should've been doing that with her boyfriend or at least with her friend, not the guy that she knows is in love with her. On the other hand as much as I feel bad for Hakamada he already knew Yuki was dating and he kept trying to make passes at her which did happen, I get he likes her but he should've backed off ages ago. And the fact that Yuki let him kiss her while she was already dating naruse but naruse never did anything with someone else but somehow everyone says hes the playboy and more likely to cheat just blows my mind- (and more now after the spoilers of what Yuki and hakamada yet again did- like gurl you're still dating naruse what ARE YOU DOING??) At some point the story became repetitive, it took 1-2 years for them to actually date and even though it was frustrating I think that part of the story was the best, I loved that arc so much(reason why I kept reading). After they started dating all the plot was -yuki get jealous of a girl->proceeds so push naruse away->naruse sucks at communication->hurts yuki->they are both hurt->somehow make up- and repeat
btw- I just want to say that just because I didn't like Yuki that much doesn't mean im saying naruse is any better than her. Like yes you might suck at communication but that gives him no right to use that as excuse whenever he says something hurtful or mean to Yuki so she takes pity on him and forgives him, as well as using that to omit the truth, the whole "well you never asked" is just bs, just because someone(your LOVER) didn't specifically asked you something doesn't mean you keep it to yourself like it was no big deal and more so if you know it can be misunderstood. He already knew Yuki was insecure bc its the first time she's ever let someone in like that and while he reassured her he loved her, he never did it when she was at her lowest, instead he would just make her feel worse and just until they are about to break up makes a "big" love gesture to fix it...probably the reason why nothing actually got fixed and the plot got repetitive
Overall I feel like I ended up liking the second couple more than the main because both characters actually showed character development and a healthy relationship. The main had its moments and it was fun but..yeah
