I think so too. There is no way this is just a boss/employer relationship.

Why? They're sexuality wasn't mention,(just because they're sexuality isn't mentioned doesn't mean they're straight) none of them has partners (the dog is not a romantic partner), and we can all agree they're super gay for each other.
